Time zone: Hobart
Reminder: 1 day before
Ends: 09:00am (duration is about 1 hour)

This session will focus on the fundamental difference between ocean and pool swimming starts. The techniques used to enter and exit the water on most beach start swims are a combination of wading and dolphin dives (or porpoise dives). These movements are very dynamic and can drain a lot of energy and be dangerous if not performed correctly.

What you need to know….

- Tomatoes open water training sessions are $5 each, payable to Ray on the day or invoiced once a month
- All abilities welcome but we’d ask that newbies have either attended a Tomatoes pool squad session or a private lesson with a Ray beforehand. We want to encourage new people! – but do it safely
- again for safety – numbers are capped at 30 people per session and your RSVP below is essential
- Bring: wetsuit (not essential if you’re cold-blooded or Glenn Allen); fluoro swim cap (so you can be seen in the water), towel, warm change of clothes.

- Questions? Call or email Ray, 0408 927 756, ray@tomatoesswim.com.au
